The Bunker Space has had numerous enquiries over the years for a large training room, which we were unable to supply. In September 2025 it took over the rear building at 79 McLeod St. with Earth Turtle and Tree Hugger Travel. This has a large room on the rear section.
This room has been converted into a meeting room or training room. It will take thirty people theatre style. There is also the option of using four tables (22 participants,) or five tables (26) participants for training. The tables have folding legs, so the room can be set up to suit the trainers needs.
The HDMI cable from the overhead projector reaches the lectern placed at the front of the room. Alternately it will reach most areas in the room, according to the trainers needs. There is adjustable natural lighting, so during the the day lights can be turned of so as the projection is crisp. (We are working on dimmable lights for evening use.)
There are two mobile double sided white boards which can be used anywhere in the training room, to compliment the training delivery.
There is off-street parking for a dozen cars, and usually on-street parking is available. The Bunker is three blocks North of Cairns Central, so it is very close to the city.
